The nature of my inquiry is about shifting high achieving boys who are reluctant writers. The lack of motivation is stopping these boys from reaching the levels that they are able to achieve. The graph below shows the Term 1 data. These were lower than the 2016 data.
With the new focus and change in pedagogy the data for Term 2 shows a shift already. The focus of Design for Real Learning (DRL) has engaged and encouraged the learners to be more motivated. The graph below shows the current shift.
These are tracking to more where these learners were tracking in 2016 and some of them above where they were previously. My next steps are to use DRL for across curriculum planning to lift the standard of writing in other subjects.
